Citizen science covers inventions, co-production, discoveries, and technology made by citizens, or useful for society . The Citizen Science Fair is run entirely by local volunteers. We aim to inspire, share inventions and skills, and encourage learning & participation in Newham.

Join us for a day of discovery, creativity and community learning at the Newham Citizen Science Fair 2026.
Hosted at the University of East London – Docklands Campus, this inspiring event brings together local innovators, students, families and volunteers to explore science through hands-on activities, demonstrations and interactive exhibits. Now in its third year, the fair continues to grow, offering even more opportunities to learn, share ideas and get inspired.
